compressing large flash movie

hi ive been working on a movie in imovie then exporting to flash that is only 1min long put buttons on it in flash but when i save it . it ends up being 7mb !! i can not upload this to my website its just too large. !!!! oh help i feel like i have tried everything!

    Are you exporting the movie to .flv or .swf?

    Wrong forum, but....

    Try looking at the size report to see what's chunking up your file. With your flash document open, go to File>Publish Settings , and check the "generate size report" option on the Flash tab. When you export your .swf, flash will add a .txt file in the export directory with a lits of what makes up your .swf.
