How to count concurrent connections on a simple videochat application with audio.

Theoretical set-up is: One room with 6 pods. 5 people lock on and broadcast there webcam at the same time. In the room there are 5 videopods and one text chatpod. All 5 connected users can enter text in the chatpod. All 5 will see there own webcam plus the 4 other videofeeds.

How will FMS2 (2.04) count the number of concurrent connections?

    Thanks Jay,

So using the profile with 150 connections and unlimited bandwidth will provide access to 30 full rooms as described.

    From the FMS2 EULA:
    E. “Connections” means the number of connections over which the client can (a) make multiple simultaneous requests for Content from a single Computer where the Software is installed and (b) maintain a bidirectional communication channel with such Computer; provided, however there may be multiple connections between one client and a single Computer.

    F. “Concurrent Connections” means the total number of simultaneous Connections from software clients to a specific Computer.

5 connections (one for each client), and you'll have 25 streams (5 publishing and 20 receiving).
