Connection failed, media server might be down or firewall might be blocking the connection!

I've been getting this error message when I try to log into a chat. I was able to log in up until a few days ago.

    Like message says - looks like your connection is not goign through. Have you checked what message is saying - is your firewall allowing rtmp traffic and your server is running.

    I use Norton as a firewall, how do I go about checking if it is allowing rtmp traffic? I've also shut off the firewall and I still get the same message.
