Connection failed with FMS

I have an application with streaming live video. When this application is running in within our proxy server( where adobe media server is kept)  its running fine. when client is trying to stream video from his proxy he gets repeatedly netconnection.failed status. after very long time it get connected, but streaming remains publishing to the server for few seconds, and then it get disconnected with the FMS. When it retries to connec it again gets netconnection.failed status repeatedly. I have tried with few settings like:

1) httpident2 setting enabled to "true" with the FMS serverIP.

2) the only file on the server supporting file to stream is main.asc, no application.xml in that folder, no allowhtmldomain.txt, no allowswfdoamin.txt file in the folder( I have tries with keeping them also.)

Even same thing is happening when I am using FMLE at client side and connecting and streaming at our FMS.

I am using FMS interactive server4.0.

Please suggest .

Thanks in advance

    This means connection was rejected.

Please check the core logs and try to find the string " Connection rejected by server. Reason : .............................."

I used rtmps with port 443 and the problem got resolved

Can you please check the access logs on the connecting server. Is request at all going to the FMS or its being timed out because of network issues. If server indicates a connect reject or disconnect, then we may dig further there, else we have to check for things like firewall, network issue based disconnects etc.

    I am getting these x-event:

    app-start

    connect-pending session
    connect session

    disconnect

    connect-pending session

    connect session

    stop stream

    play stream

    stop stream
    disconnect
    app-stop

That shows that connection is established but it get disconnected.

Can you please check the x-status for disconnect. 408 mean client side disconnect
