Hi,

I've been using Director for the good part of a decade, but due to a lack of confidence regarding future support, i've decided to convert to flash.

I've been commissioned by the powers that be to investigate a content management system solution. Would FMS be the way to go, or should i be looking elsewhere?

thanks in advance,
j.

I don't think FMS is what you're looking for.

If you want to synchronize data amongst clients, publish live video, or stream video, FMS is the answer. For a CMS, you'll more likely want a remoting service.

What sort of content do you want to manage?

    Thanks for replying Jay,

Were looking to transfer video (mpeg1,2 and 4), audio (wav and mp3) as well as high res images. Streaming audio / video would be nice, but is not imperative.

    any ideas?
