converting video

Hi i am new to FMS, is it possible to convert any video format to flv when uploading to FMS??

    It can be done, but not with FMS (FMS has not file conversion facilities).

    For automated conversion using server side scripting, take a look at FFMPEG or On2's Flix Engine.

    Sorenson Squeeze also has the ability to automate the conversion process, but it has no interface for an application server to use. Sorenson has a "watch" folder, and will automatically convert any files that are added (assuming the prefs are set to watch the watch folder.
