Could not deliver .flv and .mp4 files on FMS5

Hi,

I have just installed FMS v5.0 on Linux and the self test has fine with *.f4v files.

I have checked it on  http://www.osmf.org/configurator/fmp/ site.

But *.flv and *.mp4 files did not deliver by using rtmp.

I set, for example, "rtmp://<my server>/vod/mp4:<file>.mp4" or "rtmp://<my server>/vod/<file>.flv" into the check site.

Say once again, "rtmp://<my server>/vod/mp4:sample1_150kbps.f4v" was fine.

Are there any reasons for ng ?

Any idea thx.

You are telling that you are able to play "rtmp://<my server>/vod/mp4:sample1_150kbps.f4v" but not mp4 and flv files.

For flv files, you just use file name without extension i.e. without ".flv".

Are you seeing any error in core, edge or master log?

Thank you for your quick reply, Chnadan_Abhishek.

I have just tried simple use file name without extension, ex. "rtmp://<my server>/vod/<file>" as you said, but it did not work.

But it out a log messeage into edge.00.log as following.

    2012-12-21      14:51:53        17271   (i)2581537      Resending StartCore message to master (vhost: _defaultVHost_, app: , inst: , tag: _1).  -

I could not figure out what it said.

Were you able to play "rtmp://<my server>/vod/mp4:sample1_150kbps.f4v"?

Are there any error ie  log containing "(e)" or warning ie log containing "(w)" in master or core or edge logs?
