Creating RTMFP Multicast Player

I am trying to create a multicast player using flash for live stream . I have everything setup as per here

Sample application provided with Flash Media Server download has no source code for player which I can use . I need to change player to use parameters passed from HTML page that embeds it instead of using manifest . I also want to handle events like video play , pause , stream fail , volume change  .  I have been looking for pointer for last 1 week but there is no proper document about a custom multicast player .

Can anyone please point me in to right direction ?
