Default Live Packager Fragment Duration

Hi,

It says in the documentation that the default Fragment Duration is 4000 milliseconds, and that the Fragment Duration can be changed by making an Event.xml and setting the FragmentDuration.

Is there a way to change the default, so that I don't have to manually create an Event.xml for each event?

    The short answer is NO.

    Actually fragment duration is not best way to set up things - its always better to use other parameters FrameRate / FramesPerKeyframeInterval / KeyframeIntervalsPerFragment - and there is no default for FrameRate / FramesPerKeyframeInterval . Its always best to define custom settings with respect to your encoding settings.
