hi i bought volume licenses for fms 4 enterprise and im just trying to get this step working

Connect to an edge server

using this how to..

http://help.adobe.com/en_US/flashmediaserver/configadmin/WS5b3ccc516d4fbf351e63e3d119f2925d1a-7ffd.html

Create an explicit connection

Use the following syntax in a client-side

NetConnection.connect() call to make an explicit connection to an edge server:

rtmp://edge/?rtmp://origin/app

im trying to run this with fme is that correct for testing

example rtmp://edgeip/?rtmp://originip/live using flash media encoder

im getting connecting error

main server set to origin and other server set too edge server

one other question is ill be using more then one edge server once i get this up how is one to make a load balancing server?
in step 7

7. If you’re deploying more than one edge server, configure a load balancer.

Thanks

    I think your question is answered in another thread. So, if possible please close one of them.

    I am not sure but is your use case requires publishing through edge/Origin configuration?

    generally people publish directly to origin and subscribe through edge/origin configuration .... I think FMLE has some issues with publishing using edge/origin structure in url field.

    ok so what your saying is setup edge servers and origin server and the rtmp://orgin.ip/live people connect to, and traffic will be spread out over the  edge servers is that correct?
