Development/Streaming Server Questions

I am trying to get some information on development and streaming servers and looking for answers to the following questions. Any help will greatly be appreciated.

1) Can I have a multi-user audio/video (3-4 users seeing each other and talking to each other) enabled chat app with Streaming Server? Or does it only support one-to-one?

2) Is it possible to set up a Development server and then switch it to a Streaming server ? Since I don't need video recording (and other advanced stuff) and I don't think I need interactive server. But development server is said to be the same as interactive server except the simultaneous connection limit. Is there a way to downgrade that to streaming server?

3) If that's possible, how much work is involved in the process?

4) To use it on Windows, do I have to have Windows Server 2003 or can I install it on other windows versions ?

    Hi,
    1) You can do this, but things like text messages, users list... you will have to solve with another solution (or you can use Flash Media Interactive Server 3).

    2) No, you can't. But difference between Interactive and Streaming is very simple. With Interactive server you can use your applications (create folder in ...fms3\applications\) and with Streaming server you can use only "signed" applications - folder "live" and "vod" in applications folder.

    4) I'm testing FMS 3 with Windows XP and it work's fine. But for production enviroment I advice you use Linux Red Hat 4 (32-bit only). With Linux it is little bit faster.
