Difficulty with Components

I've been having considerable trouble trying to adapt the contents of this tutorial http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashcom/articles/first_comm_app.html  to the last version of flash and media server. Specifically, I've had difficulty causing Flash CS5 to recognize the additional components installed with media server here: Adobe\Flash Media Server 3.5\scriptlib\components like "simpleConnect" or "chat". It's not clear to me how to cause these components to appear under the components window in CS5.

Using the trial version of Flash Media Server 3.5 and Adobe Flash Professional CS 5 trial version.

    To further clarify,

    I can definitely see asc files for the components in Adobe\Flash Media Server 3.5\scriptlib\components. Thanks for any help!

    The article you noted is old and outdated. At the top, you'll see the message:

    "Macromedia Flash Communication Server MX and Macromedia Flash MX have been replaced by Flash Media Server and Flash 8, respectively. This article is retained for legacy purposes only.".

    I don't know if the communication components have been updated since Flash MX... but I've not seen more recent versions, so my guess is that they haven't been
