Do I need to re-import my FLV files?

I have a module that is about halfway finished. I have been importing avi files with "Progressive download from a web server" selected. I was just informed we will be installing Flash Media Server in the next few weeks. Am I going to have to re-import all of the avi files with "Stream from Flash Video Streaming Service" or "Stream from Flash Communication server selected?" or will the FLV files I have already created work?
