Question

Do the DiffServ (QoS, DSCP) settings in Server.xml apply to multicast streams?

I successfully used the DiffServ settings in Server.xml (AMS 5.0.5) to set the differentiated service bits for a unicast RTMP stream and verified it using Wireshark.

However it seems that this setting has no effect on multicast streams. I didn't find any information clarifying this.

Can the DiffServ settings be used for multicast streams as well? If not, what other ways I can set the Differentiated Services bits for a multicast stream?

    Replying to my own question.

    From Adobe Support:
"I have checked with our engineering team and found that AMS does not yet support setting DiffServ bits on rtmfp connections."
