edge and origin not talking

hello

iam tryin to setup edge and origin servers ..

on the origin i can get the live inbound video to work and contect to it from a web site ..

the edge shows vod and live loaded shows live loaded 2 times .. active 2 loaded 2

but i can not get them to talk to each other i have set the vhost file to this

routeentry *:1935;ip of edge:1935 /routeenrty

also done this with port 80

.. any other info you may need to know let me kow .. or ideas on this any help at all thank

and iam not all that smart on this so please be simple in answers lol ... ty
