Edge + HLS

Hello.

I have a wowza server as origin server for my rtmp stream. I am setuped my FMS server as edge server and all it`s ok.

Q: How i can edge out-format from rtmp to Apple HLS?

    Hi,

    FMS does not support edge-origin format for HTTP streaming. You can publish a stream to an application like livepkgr in FMS and then playback on clients using an url format like:

    http://<fms-server>/hls-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/livestream.m3u8.

    The m3u8 and the ts files are created on the fly and served to the client via Apache.
