Edge Origin Config

Is it possible for an Edge with a nice full cache to continue serving if the origin dies? Because during testing when we took the Origin down the Edge would not serve its cached content. Thanks.

    I dont think so - because when you bring down the origin - client connection would get terminated and hence client won't be able to stream though data might be cached at edge. I hope it makes things little clearer.
