I want to build apps to stream to Apple/IOS devices but I don't have an Ipad or Iphone.......what programs can I use to emulate Apple/IOS devices? Is there an emulator? Or will a download of quicktime work? maybe HTML5 video object will work in any webbrowser. I haven't looked into what it takes to use FMS on Apple/IOS devices, so maybe I will answer this question by this afternoon. Any input is welcome and highly apprciated.

If you just want to try out how HLS work on FMS 4.5 - minimum you will need is Mac OS 10.6 with Safari 4.0 or QuickTime X if you dont have iOS Device.

If you want to develop some apps - i suppose you will need XCode to develop Native Apps and for that i assume you need Apple Developer Account (however that's nothing to do with FMS 4.5 or HLS support by FMS 4.5)

hmmm probably too dirty to emulate it with just desktop componets/programs....looks like I will have to break down buy an Iphone or Ipad for $700 or however much one costs without a service contract. The other delimia is the fact that the iphone5 is coming out sometime this fall. Hey Steve looks like your  desire to sanatize the web with HTML5 or should I say HTML is coming true. You win +1

Little out of discussion, but how, in general, are the other apps on iOS emulated for devices ?
