Question

Flash media live encoder

I've installed flash media live encoder.   I would like to use it with my Canon XE20 videocamera, and I have a Blackmagic Ultrastudio mini recorder that allows me to use it with my computer.   All other application recognize it, like screenflow, zoom, wirecast, etc.

But I can't get Flash media live encoder to see the camera.  It's HDMI in.

What can I do?

Thanks!

Janet

    A few points...

    1) This is adobe media server forum. There should be another forum for Live encoder.

    2) Flash media live encoder is not being actively developed anymore.

    3) Did you try using many cam as an intermediate webcam..I have seen manycam working with Adobe Media live encoder. You can rediect input from your webcam to manycam and from manycam to Flash media live encoder. See manycam dot com.

That’s a good option. thank you for that. There isn’t another forum for live encoder. I tried to find it with Adobe support and this is the one they directed me to.

But that’s an option that can work. I’ll try it.
