FMIS 3.5 and playback component choices?

Hello,

I am ramping up a Flash Media Interactive Server ver 3.5.

My question is - I don't have Flash CS4, -does the flvPlayback component in it allow netstream connection control to facillitate FMIS connections?

If not, I could use a good current tutorial for building playback component with attendent aS3 script for controlling the beast.

One that allows fullscreen for VOD streaming would be what i need.

Thanx

OK - let me restate what I'm looking for.

Has Adobe not included yet a RTMP Playback component(for Flash Media Server video on demand streams) - to supplement the FLVplayback component(for .flv progressive downloads)?

If not - why? Flash Media Server has been out for how many years???

    Adobe? - Anyone?

I did find what seems like a good cost-effective solution:

    http://www.playerdiy.com/

This app will generate a player for you with many options and plugins - including one for RTMP & RTMPE streaming.

In time I will be building players from scratch, but where I work, when they want something it's usually all 'asap' so is handy to an app that will take all the work out of it.

Still think Adobe should provide something like this within CS4 or FMIS, considering the cost of their products.

    cheers
