FMS 2.01/Linux - where did the profiles go?

So we're trying to set up FMS on a Linux box, and this whole profile thing has been a huge pain.

First, the documentation doesn't explain how to switch from 100 users/unlimited to 2500 users/25Mbps. After a week, we *finally* find the release notes page explaining about the profiles existing in the licenses/ dir.

Except.... They don't exist!

In short, the licenses/ directory where various profiles are supposed to be? Empty. No profiles.

On the CD? Nothing.

Documentation? Nothing

Phone support from Adobe? Well... 20 hours later, nothing.

What's going on here? How do I configure FMS on Linux to handle 2500 users when the profiles are nonexistant and noone at Adobe will help?

HELP! We've got a major project that's effectively at a standstill, because we can't configure FMS as advertised, and noone can explain what's wrong!

Since you're installing from a CD, I'm guessing you have an outdated build of FMS. The selectable license profiles were added in an update (2.0.2 I think), so you won't have them if you're running an older build.

Ok, that solved the problem. Now if I could just get Adobe to refund me the amount of time that I wasted trying to get an answer on this.

By the way, folks, the 'commercial' web support (as opposed to the forums) is *useless* for FMS.

    JayCharles,

I have a sneaking suspicion that's the case - working on that now. If that's the case, it's atrocious that Adobe hasn't done a better job of making that fact known. This has wasted literally 2 weeks of our time.

    Thanks,
