FMS 3.0.2 with auth_addin_win_v2.6.msi

I can't really find a decent answer, support from Adobe is impossible, so therefore a new topic.
I recently purchased FMS for the purpose of vod en live streaming. Installed the file "auth_addin_win_v2.6.msi" to be able to use authentication from FME 2.5
However, I can still connect to the server without authentication; it seems that the plugin isn't enabled or something in FMS.
Can someone please give me some advice on how to troubleshoot this?
