FMS 3.0.6 and 3.5.4 now available

Hello all,

Just bringing the news that FMS 3.0.6 and 3.5.4 are now available as free updates here

http://www.adobe.com/support/flashmediaserver/downloads_updaters.html

This is a security release so there are vulnerability reports fixed in this build noted here

http://www.adobe.com/support/security/bulletins/apsb10-19.html

Also do check out the release notes for this build as there are significant changes other than the vulnerability fixes.  For example:

  • Access plugin is now available to all versions of FMS including FMSS
  • New security policy for RPC whitelisting within Application.xml to list explicitly the RPC commands you allow and no others

    Is there a way to get automatically notified of FMS updates?  Some sort of announcement email list?

    Yes, you can be notified by going to this link and signing up for Adobe Security notifications

    Coming soon are notifications that are more filtered down for the specific product that you're interested in.  Right now it's Adobe wide notifications.
