The message error is: "connectionError"

Use Windows XP 32 bits, default's parameters.

I think you must have missing some thing.

    >a driver. or some file. or your port already being used. can you try it on fresh machine. it work good for me.

I finally downloaded Vista service pack 1 and was surprised it took care of many of the problems without "The Fix" but not all problems, we still see some bugs and keep the old computer with XP at the ready. It's likely Microsoft will come out with service pack 2 to correct these remaining problems, just like they did with XP when it had problems.

Also BAN that idiot AleX Volkov, its one thing having a link on your signature, but his super long ramblings have nothing to do with this thread. I come here for solutions NOT SPAM

hi there. wandy here. can you run it ip address instead of local host. i think it make connection with ip. just a thought.
i hope you will not get error connection with direct ip path. in my many cases when i see these type of problem, i do type ip address. and connection work good for me.

I had the same error and was able to remedy it by turning off my firewall and also running the following command:

    netsh winsock reset

As recommended by the Adobe technote:

    Hi,

I had the same problem with FMS 2 and after that with FMS 3. I installed it on a 32 bit XP and it gave me connectionError. It seems that FMS doesn't really like heavy installed systems (firewalls/ antivirs/ different programs). The solution for me was to install a fresh win xp in a virtual enviroment (VMWARE). After that, the FMS worked perfectly.

Try doing that, with a little bit of luck will work.
