The message error is: "connectionError"

Use Windows XP 32 bits, default's parameters.

I don't think it has anything to do with XP. If you are using Vista, it's more likely to cause worse problems.

Does anyone know if FMS3 does DRM or encryption so that the flash clip cannot be saved by Real Player11? Thanks in advance

TheBaitUSA, Try comparing the specs of the PC and then make sure that the one it doesn't work on has roughly the same specs as the one it does work on.

Let me see what your configurations are, I may be able to help with this.
    April 14, 2008
Try inspecting from Admin console for
    - whether FMS is up and running.
    - whether VOD app is loaded. if not try loading it manually.
    - if it is loaded, does the cliet count increses when you press play in vodtest.swf. If not then probably the SWF is not able to connect to FMS. put a check on FMS pot number and the RTMP URL.

    - If the client count increases, and video doesn't show, then there is something incorrect with the stream name.

if problem persists, start from a clean system as some antivirus may interfere with FMS. and reinstall FMS with all default settings. and try again.

Same problem here. I tested the vod and live examples, and all i'm getting is "connectionError".

I also tried all the sample applications, and it can't connect to FMS.

Hmm. I think the Developer Configuration would work on xp. I read this on FAQ.

"Can Flash Media Server 3 run on all versions of Linux?
Flash Media Server 3 will be officially supported on Windows Server® 2003 (all editions) and Linux Red Hat 4. Flash Media Server will also be supported in a development configuration on Windows XP."
