Hi,

I'm using envivio 4Caster C4 to encode my videos from a ipstream, and them publish them to my wowza server, and al works fine.

Now i'm making some tests with FMS development, in or to use it for live Flash http Dynamic streaming, but my fms server wont accept the connection from envivio.

I used your tutorial below, to test it localy on my pc with windows, but when i installed it on my linux (Ubuntu) Server, i could no longer connect to it, neither with the Adobe media Live encoder, neither with Envivio, i allways receive a conection refused message.

Do i need to make any special changes to the confugurations used on the tutorial?

Best regards

Tutorial that i used:

    Hi,

Thanks for using FMS. Few quick queries before we dig more :

Is the FMS refusing the connections on your PC as well ?

And when you mentioned the connection is refused, did you mean that the fms logs are having any entries related to connection refusal ?

You do not need to make any special configurations for the connections to be accepted. Also please check your Ubuntu firewall configurations. Disable all firewalls and SElinux security settings for your fms testing purposes.

Please let us know your findings.

    Thank you !

Hi, and thank you for the quick reply,

Yes, once i changed to the Linux Server, it no longer accepted the connections from the AFMLE that is on my pc.

I mean it was refused because, thats the error message i get on the Envivio 4 Caster.

About the firewall, it is disabled and i dont have selinux installed.

    Best regards,

I assume you are refering to FMLE when you said AFMLE?

What is the error you got on FMLE ? Are you using the FMS in its default installation ? Can you check if the fms services are started and running on the Linux box ? You can alternatively try to use the IP address to connect to the FMS when giving the rtmp url. Can you also please check the logs folder under the fms installation directory and see if there is anything that is related to the connections refused ?
