The FMS instance kept crashing on me and kicks all the connected users out. I got this from the error logs:-

edge log:

2007-04-07 18:32:47 3930 (i)2701054 Virtual host Disconnecting unresponsive core streamtv/_definst_ (5203) after 40 seconds is not available. -

master log:

2007-04-07 18:32:52 3917 (i)2581223 Core (5203) is no longer active.

admin log:

yep we have an interval that fires off every 15 seconds

on FMS3, this script does not work, syntax error everywher :

stats.video_queue_bytes is not set
MAX_VIDEO_QUEUE_BYTES is not set

... ?

well the clientID is usually the same which suggests to me that the specific client is getting flooded.

It would be handy if we could asosciate an ip or a specific user with the ip, but i cant seem to find any correlation.

The thing to remember is this could be a symptom rather then the cause of the problem.

I have different clientID but often 2-5 consecutive rows have the same cID.
When in my server there are 100-150 users at the same time the sistem runs very slowly, the cpu is at 100% (windows) and the server crash. Other times there are only 30-40 users and the server runs, but dosn't work the xml onload function (I use it for authentication).
In both cases the rows in core log are the same

We have the same issue.

etc. and then it locks up.

Has anyone managed to resolve this issue or at least find the cause?

I have the same problem.
After some hour the fms crash and I have to restart it
I use xml.onLoad(success) that have success empty after the crash.

in corelog I have the same rows

not sure if this is any help erwin_seah, but i've been checking the access logs whenever we get this error.

shortly after the TCMsgQueue i see a repeated Stream stop next to same the user ip.

Hi

We are getting the same error, its been happening regulary for a few weeks now, when it does happen we get a cpu spike to 99%.

Any ideas would be helpfull.
