You can edit the ports in conf/fms.ini . See the value for ADAPTOR.HOSTPORT.

Thank you very much for the help.

I am using FMS 3.5.2 and have it on server 2008 with the fire wall off.

I have the http streams working, but not the rtmp. I have a file in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Flash Media Server 3.5\applications\vod\media but receive the following error:

the web page cannot be displayed.

the test video will stream from the FMS start screen but not across the internet.

A second question I have is how do I stream a video that using the native video player on the receiving machine?

Thanks again for all your help.

It sounds like you may be firewalled either locally or at your ISP.  I would check to make sure that you have connectivity to port 1935 with your service provider and that your local machine isn't firewalling that port either.  The latter you can check by attempting the same playback within your network from a different non-local machine.
