Question

FMS Trial vs License

Hi all,

I would like to ask what is the KEY difference between the Trial Version and the Paid Version of FMS?  Besides the limitation of connections to the server, is there anything else different between the two?  And lastly, if you purchase the license of FMS, are you able to install it in one server or multiple servers?  If you want to install it on multiple servers, what are we supposed to do?

Thanks in advanced

    Additionally

    1. on the live side, if you are streaming for more than 10 minutes you need a non-dev license.
    2. The JIT HLS/HDS apache modules also link into the license (flick your apache server to debug to see what they log)

This will give you a detailed list of difference in features and functionalities available.

One FMS license works for one server instance only. You will have to buy different licenses for multiple servers.

Thank you for the fast reply. But I want to be very clear and double confirm with you: basing from the link you gave me, the only difference between a trial version and the paid version is the SIP?

In terms of feature availability there is no difference. As pointed out in the doc, all the features will be available for trial but to have a full time and free usage of them, you need to buy a license.
