Hello, all!
I have a question on FMS2.
I have a web cam with MPEG4 or MJPEG streaming output format.
Does can FMS2 on-the-fly convert these formats in VP6/7?

Thanks.

PS: Sorry for my bad English.

    No... FMS can't do that.

FMS doesn't actually encode or decode anything. Video and audio encoding happens on the client side, and the packets are sent via rtmp to FMS. Since the Flashplayer doesn't have the VP6 encoder (it only has the decoder), you can only record Sorenson Spark encoded video and Nellymoser Asao encoded audio with the Flashplayer as the client.

If you want to use the Flashplayer as your client, you'll need to use a camera with a driver that the Flashplayer recognizes as a camera.

Alternately, you can try Flash Media Encoder ( http://www.adobe.com/products/flashmediaserver/flashmediaencoder/). It will publish a live vp6 stream to FMS.
