dear ALL

i am porting customer's FMS 2 to our brand news FMS 3.5 some flash games where user can record some streams.

It's all about recording webcam stream.

I am having big trouble with deploying applications, that do not load or if load, get write access denied.

Unfortunately, all  looks working on  Development server, calling for a licence problem.

So what do I actually have with 1089 eur ? a Streaming server that does not even save a webcam?

- is it a problem in the way applications have been written?

- can' t we use in some way standard signed live application , with some workarounds?

any suggestion?

best regards

Enrico Neri

Is there any server side actionscript involved in your app? If so, you need Flash Media Interactive Server, not Flash Media streaming server.

FMSS doesn't support server side code, and doesn't allow you to deploy unsigned applications. You're pretty much stuck with the prefabricated VOD and Live applications that ship with FMSS
