Are you sure Media Server 2 is worth it? There's not all that much new since 1.5, and it costs $4,500 for 150 connections! Divide that up and 50 connections is worth $1,500.

Why would you want to pay $4,500 for a small project when FCS 1.5 Personal was $499?

They might've stopped selling them, but I have one left. It is from a download purchase, so you will receive the serial number, and proof of legitimacy. All rights over the license will be transferred to you upon payment.

The following specs are taken from:

Macromedia Flash Communication Server MX 1.5 Personal Edition

Maximum Megabits per second: 1
Maximum Connections: 50
Price: $499
Expiration: Never

You need to keep the new license model in mind. The $4500 FMS license actually has 3 profiles:

    150 users/unlimited bandwidth
    1000 users/40mbps
    2500 users/25mbps

The $500 FCS licese does give you 50 connections, but only 1mbps of bandwidth. If your applications are more about data than video, then you're in good shape and you'll be able to use all 50 connections. If you're serving video things change fast.

Let's say you want to serve a medium quality 256kbps video stream to your users. Once you have 4 users connected, you will have reached your bandwidth cap (256kbps X 4 = 1mbps), and nobody else will be able to connect to your server until someone drops off. So, if you do the math with those numbers, it's a different story.... $500 for 4 concurrent users.

If you'll negotiate price (to a lot lower than the $500 retail price), PM me.
