H.264 on FMS 3.5

Sorry if this is a dumb question, as it probably is. I was under the impression that with 3.5, you can record H.264 live on the server, just as you currently can with FLV. Am I to understand this isn't the case, that I would have to pre-encode it on the client side, using FMLE, and then send the encoded data stream up to the server?

    You can record H.264 video with FMS 3.5, but the stream must already be encoded. This is the same behavior as with FLV (both VP6 and Sorenson) video. The video must already be encoded when it arrives at FMS.
