Hardware for satellite or cable streaming

Hello,

We are interested in purchasing FMS and I'm wondering if there is a way we can have our FMS server on a VMWare Host and have some kind of hardware stream our satellite or cable feed to the server?

    But do make sure that you have acquired the rights to re-broadcast the satellite/cable feed.

    Hmm... sort of...

    What I would like to do is:

    Satellite feed------hardware encoder-------network--------FMS server-------clients

    If that makes sense....
