Postscript: I use Flash Media Server 5 Starter

Hello, first off, don’t confuse product naming. The “Starter” edition is available beginning with Adobe Media Server 5 (no Flash in the naming). Secondly, if you have a default install of AMS on a Windows machine then I’d suggest following this brief info: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/adobemediaserver/devguide/WSd391de4d9c7bd609-52e437a812a3725dfa0-8000.2.3.html. let us know if this works out.

I tried with that but i had no results, when i click Start on ADOBE Flash Media Live Encoder an error raises, it's as if it is not able to recognise the server. Secondly, As i'm not used to using the 4.5 version that was" Flash Media Server" and not only Media "Server", I thought that didn't influence anything, did it?

Let's not talk about names of Server - whether its FMS 4.5 or AMS 5 - in both cases HDS should work fine without any issues. Can you clearly tell what error do you see when you Start Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder?
