hello,

I am going for a project in which computers on LAN will broadbast video stream (through FME) to a localserver, Is it possible to make a copy of video file on server when the broadcast is stopped just like justin.tv archive system..

I will then process the video for further purposes upload to youtube etc

Please suggest me which software will be best suitable for this..

Thank you soo much ,, will you help me choosing the best server version ?

Take the latest one, FMS 4.5 , install it and try the options to know the recording and other features. The FMS documentation should easily guide you .
    Thank you !

    Hi,

    Thanks for your interest,

Yes FMS can record it. And this recording can be done by FME as well. Try to look at the Save As option in FME which can record what is being published to FMS on to the disk.

Recording from FME (broadcaster) is not my requirement.. I need that three computers broadcasting from from FME to Locally attached computer running FMS.. Now will FMS record the clips seperately on the FMS running server ?
