Help starting FMS

Question

Hi all, i just got windows vista home premiun and install the
fms 2.0.4
but it doesnt start, i try the option "run as administrator"
in the star flash media button, but it fails to run. The cmd prompt
displays but for a very short time, can it be that he is not
executing ?? plx helppp :s

as far as I know flash media server isn't ported to Vista......Vista uses a diffrent security model than windows XP and sofew people are even attempting to develope on Vista that I don'tthing adobe has plans to port it to Vista right now.....try toinstall it again in a few years when Vista is more mainStream...for now I'd dual boot my system with Vista and WindowsXP....but hey i could be wrong i haven't tried real hard to installit on Vista.........I'm drawing this conclusion from my exsperienceof doing data Migrations. with windows XP and Vista....rarely didthe old program work on Vista it had to be changed considerbly towork on Vista.
