HLS-live quits after about 30 minutes, RTMP keeps going

I'm streaming to FMS 4.5 using FMLE 3.2. I am successfully streaming both HLS and RTMP and delivering with a JWPlayer. After about 30 minutes, HLS stops working and if I reload the webpage on my iPad, I just get the 30 second buffer. But RTMP Flash streaming keeps going. So the encoder is file and the handshake between the encoder and the server hasn't broken.

I set up my server according to Lisa Larson-Kelley's tutorials at Lynda.com, so I can't figure out what I missed. What could cause HLS to stop delivering after a successful connection?

    Correct answer

    Are you using the developer license on FMS? If so, that's the cause... the developer license has limits on HTTP streaming

    Doh!

    It's right there in the specs...

    Thanks for the heads up. Didn't want to make the purchase until we were sure everything was operating properly. I guess it is.
