How can I enable root user for AMS v5 on AWS?

I've setup a new AMS server on AWS. In our application we've code which uses root user to perform certain operations. Like, copying the videos from one server to another. I can't change the code now. As we have to go to production in a weeks time. So, I need to enable the root user to make everything working. Please share the solution for it, asap.
