Hi,

Is it somehow possible to have more than 25 concurrent SIP connections using Adobe media gateway?

Why is this limit so small, with only 25 concurrent connection a solution can never scale.

(25 is still far high compared to only 5 connections in Professional license of Adobe media server)

Thanks,

Sahil.

Adobe Media Gateway is now end of life. Suggest you to evaluate alternate solutions.

@namitagrawal  Answering "Adobe Media Gateway is now end of life. Suggest you to evaluate alternate solutions" doesn't really provide any support for a paying customer.(*it can certainly be part of the answer but is lacking don't you think?

Please understand that most AMS/AMG customers will likely follow a "standard" process, timeline, of moving off a product.  This is a server side product not a client facing one that involves infrastructure/architecture and so on.

Unless you, Adobe, can suggest a speedy, easily transferable alternative...paying customers expect to have/get support for a reasonable amount of time after such "public" announcements ( we are not privy to internal ones).

(* if you can not commit to this, within reason, then why would any reasonable consumer ever procure a product from you ,Adobe, again?).

Are you encountering a bug in AMG? We can take a look at it.

If you need more that 25 SIP connections you need to go far Enterprise Edition. In that context i said AMG is now end of life.

I believe part of the concern with adding more than 25 legs stems from the Transcoding Required.  i.e. FMG is likely to convert G711 to SPEEX and then push out via RTMP/RTMFP.  If you move FMG out on its own server , I think but don't quote me, the limitation is on FMG itself and not on AMS.  If you can validate this then... technically AMS can have unlimited legs to multiple FMG/proxy servers.
