With the AMS Standard license I'm curious about the following:

  1. How many viewers can watch our event if we configure the bitrate 195kbps?
  2. Maximum Connections/streams for Broadcasting different event at the same time?
  3. Does AMS Standard limit The bandwith for streaming?
  4. What is the maximum connections you can have between ALL streams?

Thank you in advance

How many servers do you have? What are your server spec's, internet bandwidth (if delivery is to internet uses), lan bandwidth, firewall throughput, load balancing connection/bandwidth spec?

As you can see it depends what hardware you throw/buy for your solution.

Like Andrian said it more depends on your hardware - AMS per se does not have fixed limits - limits are more from OS or hardware perspective.

    1. Its advisable that you saturate your NIC at 70% and not more. So you can use around 700 Mbps capacity at given point of time - so doing math for around 195kbps - you should be able to get around 3000+ streams of such kind.

    2. It depends on how you spread above 3000+ streams - it can be single application with single stream subscribed by 3000 clients or it can be multiple streams over different applications

    3. No - it does not. License does not have any bandwidth limit

    4. Again answer would be like 2
