How to create a PUBLIC rtmp/http Server. Which is public for my Streaming Site ??

Hello everybody,

im using Flash Media (trial developer) and i want to know how i can set my server to Public. I have a streaming site like Justin.tv and Ustream and dont wanna buy expensive hosting. i want to make my own host. i searched google hours and hours but i dont find a Tutorial to do this. I have created a server which is using my localhost (127.0.0.1) The Server is up and running but how can i make it that i can use my own server for my site. So people can stream over my server ?? i try the rtmp://myip/live but it didnt work. I hope someone can help me.
