how to debug server side actionscript? is there any platform to do so?

hello all, iam working with fms 4.5. i need to write server side code but i didn't found any good platform where i can write server side code hassle free.

Can i write asc files in flash builder 4.6 or anyother platform where i can debug code? if yes please tell me how?

right now i wrote few codes in notepad++ and its like living 100 yrs back!! there should be something where we can develop faster and trouble free!

secondly how can i give connectivity to sql database?

I suggest to use Flash Professional CS as development tool. Although Flash Builder 4.6/7 is also a good choice, further think about adobe's support on Flex vs Flash. Flash should be the right direction.
