Question

How to set up a video player

Dear all,

I've installed the free Developers Edition but had no luck, and I can read on this forum lots of others had problems too.

I'm just looking for an example that shows how to implement a video streaming service from our server with automatic bandwidth detection, and more important, an example of how to connect to a credit card billing solution.

If anyone can point me towards an example,I would be very greatfule, especially if it's a step-by-step tutorial-like example.

Furthermore, I can't find any info about the "new video compressor" Macromedia/Adobe is talking about, that garantuees high-quality video. Can anyone tell me how we should convert our videos?

Thanks!

Kind regards,
Charles

For Flash 8, you might want to use the FLVPlayer and the information in
    docs:
