Hi,

We tried to stream from FMS 3.5 flv files through HTTP,

How can we prevent Progressive download when we stream flv via HTTP?

We tried some configuration but it seems that files are always download to the local computer temp folder

Can someone point to documentation that explain how to stream flv without Progressive download ?

Regards,

Kobi Shalom

When using HTTP, it's always a progressive download. There is no such thing as HTTP streaming to the flashplayer.

If you want to prevent the flv from showing up in the user's cache, use RTMP.

    OK Jay,Thanks!

We test it with RTMP and all look fine,

How RTMPT will work (since he will encapsulate)? does it work like HTTP (download) or like RTMP?

RTMPT will work the same way... the video will not be in the user's cache. The same is true for RTMPTS and RTMPTE
