Hi everyone. Well, I just installed FMS and want to set up a test website running a flash player. But I cant find anything related to a http server within the FMS configuration files.

I double checked the adobe-s website and it states clearly:

Integrated HTTP server

So where is this integrated http server and how do I configure it?

Thanks
Nelson

Yeah, I am running into the same scenario. I think you have to think of the FMS as an appliance in the background, not as the front end to your web solution. That will probably be different in 3.5, but for now just use an apache install if you're using a linux server. That's what I'm doing, and it seems to be perfect (for the testing environment). If you're using Windows.... well, I don't know what to tell you. You're already screwed enough as it is!

The HTTP server was introduced in FMS 3.5, which hasn't actually been released yet. Are you running 3.5 beta, or 3.0?

Hi JayCharles, thanks for the reply. Well I´m currently running Flash Media Development Server 3.

Do you know it it possible to get at least a trial version of 3.5? or is there a beta as you say?

    Thanks
