I am running 64 bit server 2012 R2

I have tried both 4.5 and 5 installers and both have the same problem, I open the installer and then click I accept then I get an error message that says

Setup has detected an invalid registry entry and is unable to proceed.

This can be corrected by uninstalling the current version. (this is a brand new install of server 2012 so there is nothing on it )

HELP

    Correct answer saima_khan_adobe

Because the client has a windows server , the issue is on the install of the adobe Server exe file for both version 4.5 and for version 5

we are not going to install Linux just for this product.

I need help investigating this particular error please

Can you check if one of these registry entries are present:

    HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\FlashCom (or)

    HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\FMS (or)

    HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\AMS

These entries get set at the time of installing AMS (or older versions, FMS).

If its a clean Win server 2012 R2, these entries should not be present, else older version of AMS/FMS needs to be uninstalled.
If you think the registry entry ended up there due to other reasons (wrong imaging etc), you can delete the registry entries mentioned above and try installing again.

    Thanks,

    Saima
