Hi,
i have a dedicated hosting in a linux server. i'm very much intrested with FMIS. but the guys providing hosting options for FMIS like Influxis are too costly. can i purchase the FMIS and host it in my own dedicated linux server? is this possible? please let me know.

Thanks,
Shajahan

shajahan, Yes, you can. There are specific OS's that may have problems or quarks with getting FMS running. RHEL 4 is said to work best and reliable as well as CentOS. I personally have been working with Gentoo Linux and have seen some issues which aren't solved yet.

Search the forums thou for specific install suggestions.
