Interactive or streaming?

We're planning on purchasing FMS but weren't sure if it's worth purchasing the Interactive Edition. Is the Interactive Edition more for data-driven Flex apps? We saw the comparison chart here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flashmediaserver/compare/ but we're still puzzled as to the advantage of the Interactive Edition. Thanks.

If you are running ineractive applications FMIS is a must.

    My recommandation: go with wowza.

Thanks. What's the advantage of wowza over FMIS?

My experience with Adobe and Wowza is limited to live streaming; wowza's main advantages for me are the sustainability and scalability which goes to a lower price/user.

With same hardware machine Wowza can sustain 3 times more connections then Adobe. On a dual quad coreI I can reach 800 simultaneous connections with Adobe vs. Wowza which is able to handle more than 2000 connections.

google for wowza fms comparison to find out more about security, scalability.

also there's a great forum which offers a lot of support.
