Linux publishing live streams to fms

Just saw your post. I'm trying to publish using vlc (don't have much experience in this but I found it to be a popular sollution in my previous research on the topic). However my purpose for the question was to see if it was any kind of tutorial or documentation about the way to do this (the vlc sollution didnt really work, at least not with both cards - I know I'm supposed to ask blackmagic design about their product - which i did, but I didnt received an answer yet ). I'm trying to take a shortcut in implementing this, as the empiric method of doing things is really frustrating and really not that productive.

     Basically I'm looking for a sollution which will allow me to receive into fms 2 streams from my 2 blackmagic cards, on my linux server (I'm trying to keep the machine count/costs as low as possible)
